Back atcha: very S-L-O-W-L-Y this time: had folks listened to Tom Galvin this year, they would've missed a MAJOR move to the downside, not to mention the fact that those same folks are now on a first-name basis with their margin clerks. No I cannot name anyone who has made a ton in the past 5-10 years being short. However, can you tell me anyone who made money in '73-74 being LONG the market? Did anyone who was long-and-strong throughout '87 make money? It's all about which timeframe you look at. Face it, any idiot with an Ameritrade account made $$$ the last 5 years. The question is: will they still have it a year from now?
