Bravo Paul, <This illegal operation should be trapped by the application, notifying you of a "divide -by-zero" attempt. You should be gracefully returned to the point in the application where the operation was initiated.> All the HARDWARE flags and interrupts are specifically invented to prevent this wasteful checking. If you are going to divide 1 by zero, something went wrong BEFORE this point, and the purpose of all these exception flags is exactly to isolate this situation. See also my invention of "Universal workaround"
