its not good to hold ur breath when starting at a low elevation and going to a higher elevation say ur at 100 foot under water. u take a breath of compressed normal air. u then hold the breath and ascend to sea level... u'd probably be dead. or in shock. say you survived. you stillhold your breath as you ascend to 30000 feet in a jet airliner.... ur really dead now hey i might be dead... we'll see.
