"UNIX was invented by Lemurians" If I challenged your post I would already have respectable, checkable, proof that it was in error. Until I had that proof, I would keep my mouth shut. I could say that Lemurians did not invent UNIX in my personal opinion, but that would hardly be proof. However the NY Times is a respected source of information, and it would take counter data from another respected source, not just a persons opinion, to challenge them. JH
