ICE, in one post she said she came to the thread to learn about investing. But I do not recall a single request for investment info. Gottfried There is a must-read article in the current Forbes mag titled 'Seize the opportunity' by Laszlo Birinyi Jr. He (and this article must have been written two weeks ago at least) is bullish and gives the steadyness of bond rates as one reason. He also refers to the steady stock prices for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The article will soon be at the Forbes site and I recommend it as background information.
