Actually I didn't trade that much... Held on since the morning to a lot of the same plays. QCOM, ITWO, SEBL and RMBS were early session shorts, but only went long RMBS after covering the others. Everything I played was in the last 2-3 days watch lists, except COST but that was too tempting. SILI was new play which I have been tracking and got off the Telescan intraday scans. SILI was selected upon being the 30% below its 50 day moving average (the most in the top 25 stocks of the sector but unlike QLGC (down 42%) it didn't get a negative report.

The scan was just made yesterday from a compilation of the 'best of sector' with high EPS rank, High Relative Strength Rank but lowest Accumulation/distribution rank in the last 3, 6 weeks comparing the change with today's intraday (today's A/D rank/value) You can also use McClellan Oscillator, Money Flow instead of A/D. Fundamental strength, valuation etc.' have to be be steady and not revised downwards... (no QLGC) then you take the 'report stocks' and put the stocks into the 10 and 15 minute charts for entry.

I did a scan of the 25 in the sector that were in my "telescan Electronic Semiconductor portfolio" and SILI came out the first, TQNT came out #2.

may 1: SILICONIX INC., posts 1Q EPS $0.90 vs. $0.33
