For the purposes of this discussion, I'm not interested in W2K security. If you had been
paying attention to the discussion you would realize
that it began with my claim about Windows legacy
desktop systems and their proliferation in the world
being a drag on e-commerce, because most of the end-
users are running it NOT W2K.

Furthermore, the real comparison should not be against
any other PC O/S but against thin clients, which is
where the real battleground is going to be in the next
24-48 months.

If you think that M$FT has a plan to guarantee an upgrade
to W2K for the 10's of millions of Windows clients in
circulation in that time frame, I'd like to hear about
it.
