Thurston, KFE, anymore thought on how to set up the US Open contest? Probably will be the same as it has been. Even with the top five rated players restricted many of the picks are very similar. Thinking of requiring one pick from a player not in the top ten or maybe even the top twenty. There will be only one entry per SI account... I could see that getting out of control. I will post rules about one week before tournament. Any comments welcome. Beautiful day today and I had an 8:30 tee time on the Black course but it was closed for the day because of rain during the night. If it even smells like rain they close the course. Three more new tees were added over the winter (two more to come) probably because of Tiger Woods. Course can now be stretched to about 7500 yards. Many more trees were also cut down over the winter to make the course look prettier on TV, something I don't agree with. USGA pouring a lot of money into course and it shows. Have a tee time on Black again tomorrow morning and hoping it doesn't rain tonight. Regards, Ken
