jb, you cantankerous (not so old, only 43) curmudgeon, I'm beginning to look forward to your old fashioned words of wisdom messages. You even have levy seeking meaning from the words of Elizabethan England sages. That is a sobering thought. Shark Lady followers of Chicken Little heed jb. The sky is not falling. The cloud layer just got lowered a tad. Panic is what happened in 1929, when margins were called. Margin calling was severe this time around and many were harmed, but panic was not the outcome. Besides, it is much more difficult to jump out the sealed plate glass windows of modern air conditioned buildings. No doubt, many of us investors are suffering paper losses of considerable dimensions right now, but, if our DD and judgment were correct the good fundamentals are still there and in time we should be on the road to recovery. If we were wrong the blame is ours. Like jb, I cling to the belief that the market eventually will turn upward, but patience is needed. Denizens of Pareto's GNET PUB. let's lift our glasses and toast jb and his plan to finish and have a good time on the way. L'Chaiim all. Was that a rainbow in the sky over Wall Street late this afternoon?
