Why should a person put stories on here? Obviously to drive the rest of us insane. Well, I for one am moving on. I understand your terror. It's like when you ask someone to read something and they say, great! Love it! Can't wait to see what's next. NAd you start thinking, but what if - they don't like it. It would be so awful, so embarrassing. Better quit now. LIke Bob, the editor saying to me once, you are the only person who has made me laugh out loud besides my wife and Molly Ivins. Oh shit. Why did he say that. I can't write anything anymore. He might not laugh. He might not even get it. He;ll think- why did I ever laugh. Musta been a fluke. That's PRESSURE. Move on, with my blessing.
