Yes. AND, a story has a Zone. I can't make things up. So when one starts to write about something, and begins to splice themselves into There, and memories and location and impressions come back, their presence can be used (as the only guide, imho) to elucidate them.
It's a Track.
A time and space.
And if you want the authentic impression of the time and place, you have to use that to get it, and you can't use something else. I can't. I can't use anything, except what is there.
Lately, too, the market has been really rubbing my nose in it, and I realize daily I have less and less bidness hanging out here. The market, I mean. And, susequently, here.
