Microsoft, 6 Other Nasdaq Firms Get H.K. Stock Codes

May 24,2000 - 19:19:09 HKT

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong announced the stock codes and lot sizes of the seven Nasdaq companies to be listed on the city's Growth Enterprise Market, or second board, on May 31:
Amgen Inc. (4332), 10 shares per lot;

Applied Materials (4336), 10 shares per lot;

Cisco Systems (4333), 10 shares per lot;

Dell Computer (4331), 20 shares per lot;

Intel Corp. (4335), 10 shares per lot;

Microsoft Corp. (4338), 10 shares per lot; and

Starbucks Corp. (4337), 20 shares per lot.

ING Baring Securities, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Timber Hill Securities are so far the only three licensed market makers for these stocks.
