Hi t_b...Welcome! Re both "bullish", and Colorado...

Appreciate that quote....but I think it is something else...besides stunned silence...

I also suspect it could be distrust settling in...not just the market numbers, although that's hard enough to cope with...but things like:

wondering where the "growth in opportunity" is coming from if not from some of the tech companies (both from a stock market point of view, and from an employment point of view also)
...and how missing an estimate by 1 or 2 cents (COST), and loosing 30% of the market value in a day..(and how was that estimate conceived anyhow)
...we don't have to mention DC, as IMO that's been part of the problem for some time,
and MSFT....say what you will about the company, but it sets some really dangerous events in motion if a company spends its time, and capital to grow and employ ten's of thousands of people in just 25 years!!!...and then have the government decide that that company can just give part of it's knowledge away FREE and BY MANDATE to every competitor....

so again, I'd make the point that perhaps there are other things afoot other than what meet the eye.

And re: Colorado....I'm originally from there, and do a lot of family research there....It's a beautiful state...in many ways like WA, but we have the ocean here... Look up any area you want to go on Metacrawler....you will find all sorts of places to visit and see.... also www.usgenweb.com has many other things that might be of interest ..
Best, and Good Wishes everyone...

PS.... here is another site that was forwarded to me today..on this Holiday weekend, it may be particularly appropriate....especially if the kids are missing any of this in their schools...
