It seems to me that the only people who should be concerned with this matter are those of us who chose to contribute. I trusted Tony's judgment on him putting the money to use where it could do some good, whether it was thru Mother Teresa organization or thru some other route. He saw what was going on over there, I didn't, I have no reason to second guess him on what was the best thing to do.

When a person uses the Internet to solicit donations to help people in Kosovo, citing murder, rape and mutilation of innocents, IMO they have one hell of a responsibility to manage the donated money and provide evidence the money went to the intended cause.
When I heard about this issue I will admit - I was absolutely floored. The idea of someone miss-using donated charity money is one of the most despicable acts I can think of. I understand two people who have deep grudges are being "blamed" for instigating this issue - Matt Tyson and Fane Loza.
Knowing that, I wanted Tony to provide some answers about this issue so he could clear his name and put the issue to rest. Instead of answering any questions, this is what happened:
1. Tony responds saying "No Investigation, do your own DD, dont rely on morons";
2. I am banned from posting on Tony's thread;
3. Tony threatens & insinuates he is going to encourage the IRS to investigate me.
Here's a recap: Try to shut the messenger up. Attack the messenger and try to make the messenger look like Tyson & Loza - another guy with a grudge.
Here's the thing... When I see someone getting mugged, I don't stand by and watch. Taking donated money and miss-using it is a despicable, disgusting act.
I don't know Tony did this, all I know is he has refused to clear this issue up by providing evidence the money went to the intended cause, and he aggressively attacks anyone who questions him about it.
I'm on the side of the truth here, and unlike a sheep follower, I refuse to accept some BS answer. I am not in a conspiracy with Matt Tyson and Fane Loza to "get" Tony. I'm just the guy that refuses to watch an injustice occur because raising the issue will create conflict.
Honestly, I don't know how people can rationalize this problem away then look at themselves in the mirror every day. Makes me wonder what the heck people stand for anymore...
I don't know where or if an injustice has occurred. I don't know if the injustice comes from the people accusing Tony of wrong doing - or from Tony.
All I know is Tony has so far refused to respond to what I thought was a reasonable request and an ethical and moral obligation for anyone that manages donated money - PROVE WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DONATED MONEY.
Instead I'm banned from his thread, he aggressively attacks and threatens me for asking the question, while he repays donations after the FBI is known to have investigated the issue.
Well, I refuse to stand by and watch someone get mugged and I refuse to stand by and "pretend" something does not stink about this situation.
Tony, clear your name and prove where the donated money went, but don't waste your time threatening me to try shutting me up. |
