re: QCOM,LOR,GSTRF...from today's Washington Post
____________
Qualcomm, a developer of cellular-phone technology, has received warrants to boost its stake in a partnership that controls satellite-telephone company Globalstar Telecommunications. Qualcomm was given the warrants in exchange for a loan, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing by Loral Space & Communications, which owns 40 percent of Globalstar. If exercised, the warrants would boost Qualcomm's stake in Globalstar to about 9.5 percent, from 6.5 percent, Loral said.
