I'm really proud of X. When people are completely undone by her logic, they are reduced to inane insults. It seems she has a couple of the irrational ones here on the ropes.

There is a column today in the Star Telegram by E.J. Montini, who writes for the Arizona Journal, comparing Donny to Santiago in Hemingway's Old Man and the Sea (v. the Bold Man and the Greed). Needless to say, Donny does not fare well, but it's a clever idea contrasting how they both wanted to "catch the big one" and how poor Santiago lost his fish to sharks, but Donny has cleverly hired the sharks.
Montini mentions that where before strangers cried "pescador" when they saw Donny on the streets, they now call "sanguijuela" (bloodsucker).
I don't think this is going to increase Donny's popularity ratings, but I guess he doesn't care, as long as he HAS ratings.
