I have a choice of extending my grips on my old woods or going out and buying a new set of metals. It looks like I'm heading out to buy a set of metal drivers. I've been getting the same response from other sources, that the sweet spot is larger, which tends to give more accuracy. When I tried a metal wood, it felt so light, and my swing felt out of control, but I'm sure its all about practice. As for irons, I've noticed my set of older irons have a sharper leading edge than newer models. Is this an accurate observation? It seems the leading edge on newer irons are rounder. thanks for your comments
