Since this is a subject in which I have some personal experience, some extreme bias, and a great dislike....

I've bitten my tongue 'til it bleeds (like some hearts) but want to say:

the perceived bias you folks feel is probably a bit paranoidal because your belief (religion, if you will) sets itself up as the ONLY true religion and denigrates the possibility that any other could be correct.

As a matter of faith, you can do this if you like ~ but you can't persuade those of other more tolerant belief to accept the idea that you're right and we're all wrong. Especially in view of severe division/dissension in your own ranks.
Consequently your beliefs are rejected and ridiculed more often than not by people who think for themselves.
