In the above sentence, THEY refers to MANY COMPANIES, not exclusively to Nortel. In this way, Mika is clearly suggesting that IP QoS mechanisms may prove to be inadequate to completely replace circuit switching for voice traffic. This is a legitimate, although minority, opinion. It in no way denigrates Nortel's contributions to the progress of technology.

When you say Mika's statement is baseless, or when you suggest through innuendo that Mika's personal contributions to the world are insignificant, or when you suggest in a snide tone that he check his facts before posting, you are being insulting.
