Recent disclosure of 13d SEC report added one more institutional investors holding more than 5% of SEMI.

More institutions will hold SEMI if and when favorable news of SEMI hits the fan. Market makers remain 18 in the month of April.

Technically, Greenspan's threat of further raising the interest rates is keeping the 680 market makers sober. More market makers are willing to take in cash, but lowering the bid offers so they don't have to buy stock back. However, the level2 activity shows mostly bid activity. When oversold happens, the market will rebound and the share price moves will attract more money on the sideline back into the market.

Fundamentally, semiconductors will have more applications in new products such as wireless, appliances and PDAs; not to mention high power servers, and streaming video applications. Entertainment field too will have resurgence of Playstation2, newer VCRs, and cable STBs. Again deep submicron technology using smaller silicon real estate will keep cost down for cheaper new electronics to made the economy booming.

So far so good, Wall street will straighten out and all stocks will recover. Greenspan is not destroying the economy. Good economy is still good jobs and good pay. Just don't borrow, in order to escape Greenspan's clutches.
