WUWT Any competition to CIBT needs to have had physical schools and teachers in China for several years if they want to offer online education course in China. These schools have to teach the same courses that are offered online and provide in class teaching for individuals taking their online courses. In order to offer both certificate and academic degrees these physical schools have to go through the whole process of accreditation, etc. It is not like someone with an online education program can just rush into China and get some market share . . . it appears that there are fairly substantial barriers to entry and the WTO is not going to change this.
