Ken .. he used the name "stable" for a group of stocks he qualified as "workable". Ken, IMHO you've hit the 'key' to continued success with this or any other strict TA approach to trading .. ie making sure that the 'stable' is indeed populated by 'workable' issues .. This will be an ongoing dynamic process .. trying to id issues that currently exhibit wide trading ranges characterized by persistent and smooth price patterns .. unfortunately this is not a 'mechanical' or easily automated screening process ..
