Ray, actually the politics of this is not OT. Mainland China is a vast market. And surely we can sell em lots of Dells and CDMA phones, etc. I reject the isolationst policies of people like Buchanan because I believe that we can change people and place by trading with them. My experience in East Germany taught me that. In terms of the markets, I think you have an excellent point about trade policy and it relationship to democratic ideals. Freedom engenders profits.
