Scott, sorry to nitpick, but it is still not clear.


No - those are not short term changes, but annual changes.


If you say "annualized" instead of "annual", I can understand.


They indicate the best days to buy for long holds of 6 months or more.


Ok, but how can that be so different for two consecutive days, unless there is on the average, a huge fluctuation between these two days. For example:


Memorial Day -4.7% 22.8%


If I will lose 4.7% on the average annually if I buy on the Thursday before Memorial day, but I will make 22.8% if I buy on Friday, shorting on Thursday and covering on Friday should give me 27.5% return in two days, on the average, no?
