Consider how logic is used as a method to prove claims. As you know, logic requires premises, and logic cannot prove those premises, except by providing further premises that require further premises, and so on, until you reach a state where everyone either accepts a belief to be true, which isn't logical, or doesn't, which means you haven't proved anything. In either case the method is false.
