OT As you know, logic requires premises, and logic cannot prove those premises, except by providing further premises that require further premises, and so on, until you reach a state where everyone either accepts a belief to be true, which isn't logical, or doesn't, which means you haven't proved anything. In either case the method is false. The only thing that you have effectively argued to be false is the statement "one can prove something using logic without accepting unproven assumptions". Logic is a tool which can be effectively used to arrive at conclutions based on assumptions. If you feel that you can make no assumptions, and have no axioms that doesn't make logic false. (It does however make it fairly useless for you). Tim
