Bill. Yes, I heard this news about us being debt free by the year 2007 sev. days ago. Why else would we be plunging into this: Let us build up the left behind communities. If there is ever a time to do it, I guess it is now. Just as long as the FED does not use this as a reason for more rate hikes. You know, spending increases. The GVT should offset this spending increase by cutting taxes.

The GDP came in a bit higher than expected in the first 3 mos. Well, we had some hefty rate hikes in the meantime to work on that.

Sheesh. They call a reduction from 7.3 to 5.4% only a drop in the bucket? If it slows down this much for the following 3 mos. we should be down to under 2. Fat chance I guess.

Yeah, Murphy always says we have to go back to go back up again. Makes sense if you want to make plenty of commissions. But I always find this TA stuff a bit flawed. If the market goes up again if you go down some, why does it have to go down to begin with? Oh well. I don't write this TA stuff. gg.

We seem to have a follow thru on the NAZ with this China/WTO deal. Qcom seems to be left behind since there is still the question if China will go with CDMA. They have been squawking about standing behind the other standard, is it GSM? It was supposedly being used to put pressure on voting for the WTO deal but if they will change their stance on this standard now, seems to be anyones guess. I wanted to buy some QCOM this morning but decided against it at this time. Maybe some Ciena. The CEO increasing his holdings from about 1 1/2 mill. shares to 6 mill. shares. Now that's what I call confidence in your company.

I am making some headway in recouping some of my net losses from this last selloff. Only Yahoo is not playing ball.

Anyhow, if the NAZ is supposed to back to 2600, it does not look like it will do it today.

I understand that Fidelity has increased their holdings in the nets. I have not checked yet what cos. they are buying.
