DSL has turned into a Gordian Knot. Cable will cut it. It's turning out far worse than I predicted several years ago. In the interim I was hoping it would take some burden off cable, but it's becoming an unmitigated disaster. Is that what market the smart guys at ATHM want to enter? They want so desperately to diversify away from cable. Looks like they have randomly discovered another disaster like dialup. This will get Bell out fast. You can get a very good feel down at the user level from the regular feedback on Speedguide.com. Anyone choosing DSL is crazy. Do you remember those people like the ones Grace recounted about how they were so smart and chic to know that DSL isn't shared? Didn't you go to a garden party to reminisce with your old friends, no, it was a dinner party and the smart chic in-the-know types wanted so desperately to show how clever they were. They concluded also that cable is no good because it's shared. I'll bet they all make lots of money because they are so objective in their opinions. Do you think they need to be accurate in their jobs? Or is this the new era of knowing nothing and being rewarded for failure? Sure sounds like ATHM management. How much did Jerko make?
