IF things happen fast enough they seem connected even though they are not. That's what an infinite potential connectivity of neurons buys you (imo)- the illusion of seamlessness.

You assert an extra article- an extra piece to the machine- a soul. But so far I still don't see any evidence for that extra piece.

And you assume we have free will. I'm not so sure anymore. I think if we were omniscient we would see that free will does not exist. Of course I don't think we ever will BE omniscient so it's as if we had free will, but I suspect we don't. Not that anyone can prove it either way.

And what appears comprehensive often isn't.
