Haywood Report

Yesterday, we inspected Canadian Pacific North West Capital's recent drill program at Dana Lake.

1. We reveiwed several holes for Phase 1 drilling. The mineralization encountered is consistant with the Company's descriptions. PGM values in Holes RV#03,RV#08, and RV#12 correlate well with disseminated sulphides holsted in thematrix between partly-digested fragments of magmatic breccia. Intermittent blebs and stringers of quartz occur within the mineralized zones. As espected from our analysis of the assay data, the high-grade protions of the deposit are releated to intervals with abundant copper-sulphides that are clearly visible in comre samples.

2. The Company has removed the overburden at sites 100 metres north of Hole RV#08. The surface rock-types here, in correlation with the IP chargeability anomalies suggests that the mineralization could continue North.

3. IP lines on a one hundred metre spacing have been completed as far south as the Central Reef (about three kilometers to the Sought of Dana Lake). The Company is expected to publish this data next week.

4. Phase Two drilling will not start until early to mid-June. We expect step-outs in the North to test the chargeability anomalies for about 100 metres north of RV#08. Additional holes arre planned to undercut previously drilled sections to test for mineralization at depth. An infill hole is expected at the Trench Zone between Hole RV#06 and RV#1. We do not expect drilling further to the south until more surface work is completed.

PFN's stock has softened in the "intra-news" period and we beliveve that investors tolerant to risk should accumulate the stock for the next drill program. Haywood Securities has studied and published ideas on the northern contact of the River Valley intrusion over the past six months and after yesterday's site review we are further enthused about the excellent potential for the early stage exploration project. In coming days, we will review some of the less mature projects in the River Valley area. Stay tuned.
