I've worked in several of those areas, and I can state unequivocally that short of a natural disaster, it isn't going to happen. The key attractions of SV are proximity to Asia, a cool and dry climate, and complete saturation of the industry. Most of the workers here are from Asia, and that is what fundamentally drives SV.

There is no point to arguing this matter...neither of us can predict the future. But don't you know that when someone says unequivocally, the opposite usually happens.

BTW there are many who would argue that NC has the better climate with the added bonus of no earthquakes. <g>
