Fwiw, according to a cpu dealer I recently ordered from, there is a massive Insmell chip shortage. He expects it to last way into the summer which jives with the story. Now what I'm not sure of is whether Insmell is having production problems or demand shot through the roof and they got blindsided. Got AMD??? all the chip makers are sitting on mountains of inventory, DRAM prices have collapsed, but there's a 'shortage'...LOL! i think they're just trying to talk up prices... Nick
