LOL ... I guess I could have phrased it a bit better <g>

I find puts on the internuts are ridiculously (realistically) expensive, so I don't see much home run potential there, unless the timing was perfect, which mine never is. As for the lower level semis and PC-relateds, I don't know them very well, but I suppose any with overextended p/e's would make decent candidates, as the market continues to narrow in supporting the darlings at all costs.

I agree that the confluence of events in the coming months looks very promising for bears ... one question I have is on the effect of the accounting cleanup: you say "for the next few quarters", which I take to mean year on year comparisons will repeatedly be bad -- but won't the effect be discounted all at once? The smart money has apparently been quietly leaving the building for some time now ... do you think they will manage to whistle the unwashed past the graveyard over months of slowly declining prices? If not, there should be some real home run potential come 2nd quarter earnings season ...
