Nick, from what i hear, this is an INTC specific problem that has more to do with their lousy manufacturing yields than with soaring demand as they claim.

run-of-the-mill DRAMs are certainly NOT subject to a shortage, neither presently nor in the foreseeable future. that's a WS fairy tale.

Earlie has answered my questions re. INTC in detail, and he's really knowledgeable regarding the situation:
