Hello:

I was checking out this thread, because it is listed under hot topics. I have traded some in the tech stocks, but mainly stick to mining and energy stocks. However I am an advanced computer user and this is what I think from my point of view.

Number 1: I absolutely hate microsoft and microsoft products. I would not use Windows 95 on my computer, but I really have no choice. In the work environment, all the microsoft packages are the ones of choice and thus I must conform. I much prefer to use a unix environment and actually have both the Linux operating system and the Windows 95 operating system running on my computer. The company that looks the most appealing to me in the future is Citrix (CTXS), which is currently trading aroung $20 ( a little less than that I think was Friday's close.) Everyone probably knows that they have been in negotiations with Microsoft over licensing rights for the past few months. Bill Gates just loves to railroad companies and tried to use his weight to pull CTXS down in late February. What CTXS has developed that is crucial to the release of updated versions of Windows NT is the ability to run programs that are written for the windows environment on other operating systems, such as Linux or Sun. Microsoft cannot come up with this technology. They threatened to drop CTXS and build it all in house. That was a nice ploy for the trading public, but truth be known...Microsoft doesn't have the expertise to do this. All they have done is hire a bunch of people in making it look like they are actually going to do this. In reality, all they did was temporarily bring the stock price of CTXS down from $30/share to $9/share. 2 months later it is already trading back at $20. They haven't done anything.

#2: CTXS is a fairly large company and has the best opportunity to be huge. It is my opinion that no companies will come from trading under $5 to Microsoft status, because Bill Gates gobbles them up for $$$ that is too good to be passed up, before they can even come close to greatness. I am determined to go to doing everything in the Linux environment and get away from the Windows nightmares. My only restriction has been being able to do work from the office at home. Bill Gates may be successful in his own thrusting of people from the windows environment to the UNIX environment by releasing Windows NT. I can also get away from having to buy a whole new operating system every couple of years, because Gates is trying to control the market. In another year, Windows 95 will have to be replaced by the entire country on every computer to Windows NT at a cost of a few hundred bucks per software package. Gates has an amazing racket going here...hard to believe the government hasn't been able to get him for legal infractions yet.

Just my opinions.

Cordially,
Kerry S. Nelson
