And it turns out that there is good reason to be suspicious of government motives in all of this. Tobacco is one of the most heavily subsidized industries out there. And they don't call it "tariffed" service for telecommunications for nothing. Like Gary, I don't think that MSFT is our benevolent brother, but I trust the government far less. CSCO will be a hard one to nail for monopolistic practices since LU and NT are both significantly larger than they are. Not to mention that Chambers knows how to be humble and play the game.
