JBC,

Are you using the new Ping I3? The reason I ask is that I have been using them too for a couple of months and I have noticed something very bad. They nick like crazy. I have played maybe 30 rounds with them so far and two of them have craters on the lower edge where a small pebble or something hard has taken a chunk out.

This is very odd as my old ISI (which I had for about four years) didn't even have a scratch, and they were copper!

Curious if you or anyone else has noticed this? Wonder if the metal is really soft.
