Now let me get this straight. The reason for the injunction is to silence the defendants because collectively they are trying to:
discredit the business methods of Amazon,
destroy the business reputation and goodwill of Amazon,
negatively affect public confidence in Amazon,
deter third persons, including businesses, customers, shareholders, and others, from dealing with Amazon,
unlawfully drive the price of Amazon common stock into a downward spiral, in order to enable the Defendants and those
acting in concert with or under the direction of one or more of them, to illegally profit by selling Amazon common stock short.
drive Amazon stock down to a "terminal short" and destroy Amazon's ability to operate on the stock market, and
drive Amazon out of business.
My questions are: Aren't they doing a good enough job of this by themselves without the help of the defendants? Shouldn't they also try for injunctions against Pugsy and the Hogger? |
