I do hate the Bible- generally. I hate what it stands for- the elevation of ignorance and belief over reason. However, I am able NOT to hate the poetry. I can even love the poetry in some of the psalms, where I HATE the ideas. If you cannot see the nuance in that- if things are all either black or white for you, then I am sorry for you. I wouldn't want to live that way.
