sandeep- The judge is hell bent in getting Microsoft to obey the law. Part of of the legal process is modifying behavior. You drive drunk. You lose you drivers license. You do it some more and you go to jail. In the district court it is at a higher level but the intent is the same.

Wednesday I believe was planned to play out exactly as it did. Microsoft's legal team was humiliated and destroyed for the purpose of sending their client a message. Microsoft is playing a losing game.

If you buy the "Win on Appeal" argument good luck. If the PC industry slows down while the process is taking place your stock could end up in the teens with still no assurance that the company will prevail. Bill and Steve have their money in Treasury Bonds. What have they go to lose except for the stockholders money by continuing to play the game.

Good luck again.

Harvey
