our LTB&H guru had a slight problem with the concept of koi
I think that I am in one of those Twilight Zone episodes with a parallel negative universe. First, our LTB&H guru, early discoverer of QCOM, and seemingly astute investor, has trouble with the mantra (despite LOTS of coaching), gets lost in a medium sized restroom, and after a latency of several days realizes that a Koi Pond refers to having Koi Carp in it (he was astounded at the connection).
Then, another supposedly astute member of the main thread who will remain nameless here (though I'd be careful in selecting my heart surgeon) PM's me to help him with the mantra.
Then, the LTB&H guru starts posting on the curmudgeon thread, and he is sometimes even humorous.
Finally, my QCOM is in the 60's, my portfolio is down 50% off it's highs, and I won money in Las Vegas.
I know that I'm going to fall through a trap door behind my closet at any time now, and re-enter our old dimension where Merlin gets the mantra before I finish telling it to him, is an expert in all species of Koi, stays on the main thread, and ceases being humorous. The unnamed astute member of the main thread doesn't concern himself with the mantra (and you don't have to worry about who is doing your cardiac surgery), my portfolio is up 50% from it's early March high, QCOM announces another 4 for 1 split after hitting the 260's, and I lose as usual in Vegas.
I'll see you folks on the other side. I liked it better over there.
