``Because of continued strong bookings, success in ramping shipments, and anticipated closing of
the PIRI acquisition in the first full week in June, we now expect to exceed second quarter expectations by approximately 15 percent in revenue which would
represent sequential revenue growth of approximately 44 percent or greater."

I'm curious how much the PIRI acquisition contributes to this. Since it closes "first week of June", does PIRI's contribution represent its operations from that time till June 30 only? Or is it ops for the whole period?

"With regard to pro-forma earnings per share, we expect to exceed Q2 estimates by approximately 24 percent or better, representing sequential growth in pro-forma operating profit of approximately 58 percent.''

It's always hard to figure what "estimates" are. But last Q's pro-forma op-prof is a hard number--22 cents. So 58% growth would mean earnings of 34.76 cents. That's the minimum, I believe. They're raising the bar quite a lot!

Thanks to Steve and hunt for picking these releases up early.
