Deutsche Banc Opens JDS Uniphase, SDL Inc, E-Tek, Ciena, DIGX (JDSU) (NewsTraders.com)-- Deutsche Banc Alex Brown analyst Raj Srikanth today initiated coverage of four fiber-optic components companies with upbeat investment recommendations. JDS Uniphase (JDSU) and SDI Inc. (SDLI) were at the top of the analyst's list as they each received "strong buy" ratings. On the second tier and started at "buy" were E-Tek Dynamics (ETEK) and Ciena (CIEN). All four stocks were recently trading higher, buoyed by the broad rally seen in the technology-laden Nasdaq. Separately, analyst Michael Bowen commenced coverage of Web hosting services concern Digex (DIGX) with a "buy" rating. Further information on the initial ratings wasn't immediately available.
