Speaking of cameras, I almost bought the Nikon Coolpix 990 yesterday (my first digital). Looks like a heck of a camera, and I particularly like its macro capabilities. (would also get rechargeable batteries and see how it goes with the 16 meg Flashcard.) I was hesitant because of the tendency for blues to turn purple (a common problem as I understand it). It seems that the purple problem can be corrected fairly easily with packages like PhotoGenetics. Am also reviewing the Olympus C-3030 and the Canon PowerShot S20 (but have been Nikon FE owner for 20 years). Am finding imaging-resource.com to be a good site for reviews. Any thoughts anyone? Yaker PS. Bought my first SNDK shares at 47 the other day and am a slim ¬ point in the green.
