How does this jackass keep his job? "'We've been through challenging times before and we're actually very, very confident,' said Cowpland. 'Once we're through this kind of little cloudy stage, we'll be looking real good.'" And the Inprise deal will go through and next quarter will be great and the Network Computers will sell like hotcakes and the Java Office suite will crush Microsoft and the Video Conferencing system will take Corel to the moon and they will be the dominate Linux brand for the desktop and so on and so forth. For crying out loud, all he does is bark at the moon and then fail miserably. I can't see how anybody can come to any other conclusion than this guy has been running this company on steady diet of false and misleading information for as long as anybody can remember. I call it "lying and stealing" but I guess that's not the correct legal term. I don't wish anything bad on anybody but if the jury nails this clown for insider trading I hope they throw away the key. Cowpland would have been out on his ass 5 years ago if he didn't hold a 10% equity stake and surround himself with cronies.
