Gee Joe, lighten up. Tom has claimed for years to be God's own fair evaluator of all technical things. As a technical neophyte I actually used to read his stuff and buy into it as "fair" and "impartial", as he declared it to be. I just find it interesting that he has looked into his navel and discovered he has a few biases which are pretty darn important to the way he "explains" his holy work. It is pretty darn clear he is not the Comsumer Reports of technology and I applaud him for admitting that he has a huge axe to grind with Intel/Rambus and he intends to keep doing so until Rambus is dead, dead, dead. No point in trying to actually give unbiased reports is there? I mean, since Dr. Tom clearly is the smartest man on earth, his opinions are all that matter...data be damned. Oh, and yes, I understand that everyone has biases. If I'm not mistaken you have a little anti-Rambus bias, don't you? Or am I wrong and you are in fact empirical and evenhanded in your review of all that is going on.
