Neo, I understand, and agree with much of what you say. I am still undecided about the purgatory and Sheol concepts that were developed in early Catholic style theology but, none of that is really material to the kind of discussion that appears to be prevalent on this thread. I have no right to condemn another person because their beliefs differ from mine, whether I like it or not, and I know you feel the same way. I am trying to make a case for my beliefs without appearing to be preaching or trying to force my opinions on others. What I will do, in any forum, is defend my beliefs from undue scorn and degradation, as if I had no right to believe as I choose. I think a little bit of that has happened and, I know, that I have misinterpreted some language used because of a generational gap in common usage of some words.
As I just posted to Rambi, neither position in this discussion can provide provable FACTS, that give support to make either one conclusive. Opinions are nothing more than opinions. Sometimes they change, sometimes they don't. I guess that is just a "provable" fact of life.
