JC,

I think you're right and we're seeing the chafing
that results from the exit of one prominent technology
and the emergence of another begin to take its toll.

M$FT's biggest problem is their own success. They have
a gargantuan inflexibility because of the sheer number
of systems in the field that have been rendered sub-
standard computing devices by the emergence of the internet.

Too bad for them. They can milk their customer base for
a while like IBM has done with their mainframes, but it's
not going to drum up any excitement in the marketplace
anymore.
