This old guy will assure you that statement is untrue. There are more ways to make (and lose) money in the market than we can dream of. Far from being the only game in town, GGing is a small niche method of investing. And as far as I'm concerned, it's based on an attractive but unproven theory by a guy with a PhD in English literature.

Well, at least that explains the, um, er, "flayed" feeling that I have, as someone else described it. Yes, it feels MUCH better.
On a more curmudgeonly note, some old biddy left a note in my mailbox that reads "Please MOW YOUR LAWN, or your neighbors will be forced to call the city and report you."
HAHAHAHA!!!! "The yard police are at the door, honey...take the kids out the back, and I'll try to hold them off."
The funnier part? I moved in yesterday! I think the movers put the mower upstairs in one of the kid's rooms, and I'm pretty sure I saw the weedeater in the guest bathroom behind a wall of boxes. Ah, suburbia...I'm off to get gas and beer. I'll decide which one to put in the mower and which one to drink later.
