If GW wins the presidency of the United States, I firmly believe that we will not see any more "Waco's" or "jackbooted thugs" threatening to blow away people while they are right next to a little kid. I could be wrong, but I don't think so..... As for the so-called "bleeding heart liberals" currently in charge, please do no let them fool you. They can certainly be very brutal, even more so than conservatives placed under similar situations and circumstances. Communists are supposed to be "for the people" and are supposed to be the ultimate "bleeding hearts", but their brutality throughout history is well known.
I agree with you about better training and counseling for law enforcement officers though, and as far as being brutal to criminals, forget it, as that sets the wrong example for everyone else, and not only that, it hurts many innocent people also. You would be surprised at just how many "criminals" are actually innocent, and how many of those are still rotting in prison waiting for the truth to come out. Have a nice weekend, Yogi |
